The Mechanics of Deception - How Scientology deceives you
There are many techniques used to enthrall an audience.
One of the basic ones used by the performance called scientology
is the gradient approach - presented to every member and even to
kids as "study technology" - this technique of gradients'
is a key part of "study technology" and
has a dark side.
It is the means used to sell deception.
To convince someone that what you are saying is true, you have to
get them to agree with you...Over and over Many times...
Perhaps this might be a nodding in time to the 'hypnotists metronome'
Until you reach a state, that is described in a high pressure
sales technique book, that is on training courses for
scientology salesmen - Les Dane's "Big League Sales Closing Techniques -
as 'nodding your head'..
Once you can get the target to reach a point of nodding his or her
head in agreement with common sense facts and observations
You can then insert a lie, either directly stated or implied
-for instance { I have all the answers }
or *this* is the pattern of the mind... ]
This technique is not limited to Hubbard - it is basic salesmanship
only what you are being sold is one lie..and the odious
vehicle used to do this is TRUTH.
At the beginning..
"I have all the answers" or as in the case of
Ross Perot who used these same common sense one liners
to imply the idea - "This is a grassroots organization"
[it was totalitarian]
Or, what led me to look at all this is something my lady, Victoria
said to me in our last long phone
conversation, before her disappearance,
about Lavenda "She tells me things that I want to hear"
Yea, well, hindsight is 20/20, Ross Perot did that, so did Hubbard...
I am a war hero { in case of Hubbard ]
I am a psychic in the case of Lavenda in the Victoria debacle

Now, let's picture a deception machine.
There is a gradient used here that you must note.
There is a mixture control on every effective means of deception
that controls the ratio of Truths to lies.
In the beginning of seeking to convert someone to
your way of thinking, of making them your slave, you have to tell them
many truths..
As you advance up the gradation chart in Scientology, perhaps
your mechanism to determine what is true is strategically
removed at Level IV called in Scientology Service Facsimiles-
this is a listing question to determine what you use to
make yourself right - that could be rephrased to say what
you use to determine if what you conclude is correct.
The only somewhat valuable part of the gradation chart might be

I now think that this level would run out all the entrapments and
mechanisms of Scientology if run long enough - and suspect
that was good old John's intention... before he was declared an
enemy for saying OTIII was bunk. But now in scientology they
don't run that level anymore... if they can manage to avoid it...
Maybe this is why.
After telling many truths you insert a lie - or IMPLY a lie
I have all the answers.. I am a great man..
A brilliant man, a Physicist...a
Nuclear Physicist at a that... all the while, you're
repeatedly being bombarded.. By the subliminal
implication that there is SCIENCE in this junk -
every time you read the word SCIENTOLOGY
And at the same time you being given a subliminal dose
of electricity -just below the threshold of
awareness by their E-Meter... whose current levels are
matched by BioStim pain killing type
machines, which induce releases of endorphins - your
body's own pain killers, the source of the
runners high, which bind at the same receptor sites in
your brain as morphine or heroin.
Producing a state of euphoria and elation...
Whose source is attributed by you to L Ron
Hubbard's greatness and brilliance.
Which brings me back to the Mixture control on any
Engine of deception..In the beginning, you get 99% common sense truths
[ excerpts of ancient philosophers insights, and
common sense observations ] and 1% lies [I have all the answers]
after that 1% is sold, the mixture control is slowly moved toward lies...
Until after a long while.. The handle is pushed all the
way down..and you are spending all your
money, getting rid of invisible body thetans, that
only you can see and only Scientology
can dispose of .
Which might just be an induced artifact of hundreds of
hours of subliminal electric current... after
all Hubbard does say, if no BTs.. send them back
for more auditing at lower grades...
Boy, I hope John Travolta reads this...
